About Me
Just like you, I’ve always been fascinated by the cosmos since I was a kid. I had dreams of exploring it as a child. However, life and family responsibilities pushed that dream aside for many years. I got into astrophotography in 2018, but like many of you, I found it to be quite pricey and complicated to start. I struggled to find the right resources to build a complete telescope setup for beginners and the guidance on how to operate it.
A lot of the information I came across was pretty hard to understand, so I decided to do my own research to find a simpler way to enjoy stargazing without breaking the bank on my hobby.
Fortunately, we live in an incredible era where technology allows us to explore the stars more accurately and efficiently right at our fingertips. These amazing advancements have opened up opportunities to look deeper into space and understand where time began, enabling us to explore the skies in ways our ancestors could only dream of.
My family suggested that since I love to chat and have a talent for conversation, why not combine those interests? This inspired me to launch my Lunar Junkie project.
I wanted to share my journey, experiences, and insights with others while making new friends who are also passionate about astronomy and nurturing positive, creative ideas that can bring us closer together as we all share this beautiful planet.
